Children’s Christmas gifts

Next Sunday is the start of advent and we will be collecting new toys and games for children at Christmas time.  If you would like to assist then please place your gifts under the tree.

If you wrap your gift then state if the present is for a boy or girl as well as the age range.

Let’s bring a little happiness into a child’s Christmas.

Sing For Fun

The Sing for Fun held a wonderful corned beef hash supper and concert last Saturday 25th November with everyone enjoying the food and the singing.

The concert raised over £370 for Church funds and the re-decoration project.

Joan received a special thank you after announcing she has elected to retire from leading the group for so many years, “I need a rest”, she said.

Church Prayer – Antrobus

Please pray for our continuing Christian presence in out village. We particularly thank God, in our rural setting, for the end of another year’s bountiful Harvest. Bless our Men’s Sunday celebrations at the end of November. Help us to inspire hope in our friends and neighbours as we move towards the Christmas season.  Despite the winter weather approaching it’s always a warm season in the community as we join in many social events and think of us when we set out on our carol singing, bringing God’s cheer to every home in the village.
Minister: Rev David Easton
