Our Father, the one eternal God who came to earth in a human form, he came with words of comfort to all of us to teach us how to live in harmony with one another and most all to love one another as He loves us.  When we are down and we are sad the world is weary, open our hearts to the things he has taught us through his only Son, Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with us forever.

We pray for all the young families coming through our doors that they may come to know Jesus as their Saviour and enter into a Christian life. We ask for a blessing on all the children that they may grow up knowing Jesus as their friend and guide. We pray for our Church in 2018 that it may develop both numerically and spiritually. Be with Mark, our minister and Helen our Deacon together with our newly constituted Management Stewards as we seek to develop our Mission Projects including themed     services. Martin continues with the mother and toddler group on Wednesdays, the credit union and messy church and we extend a warm invitation to anyone who would like to join us. Please pray for the sick and lonely at this time and we especially think of members who, due to illness, are unable to be with us to worship but they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Please pray for our continuing Christian presence in out village. We particularly thank God, in our rural setting, for the end of another year’s bountiful Harvest. Bless our Men’s Sunday celebrations at the end of November. Help us to inspire hope in our friends and neighbours as we move towards the Christmas season.  Despite the winter weather approaching it’s always a warm season in the community as we join in many social events and think of us when we set out on our carol singing, bringing God’s cheer to every home in the village.

As we enter a New Year in Church life we welcome Linda and Julie as they come to join our ministry team.  This new year sees us move to a more team based approach to ministry across four clusters in one Circuit.  We prayer for ministers and churches relating to each other and new ways and pray that the Holy Spirit will work amongst us to enable growth and revive the mission of the churches of the Circuit.
