On Sunday 7th December New Song will be holding a Kids Christmas Party and all children are welcome! 3.30pm until 5.30pm in the hall. All ages are welcome.

There are no Feast your faith meetings in December. We will return in the new year.

In August 2026 our circuit Superintendent Minister the Rev Andy Moffet will be leaving us to join a different circuit.
In September 2026 the Rev David Vincent Jambawo will be joining us from the Stockton on Tees circuit as our new Superintendent Minister.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked, supported and visited our Christmas Brunch & Stalls. This isn’t the final amount but so far we have raised £642 towards Church funds.
Sheila Benton sadly passed away last week.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday 3rd December at 10.15am and will be led by Rev Jackie Bellfield.
On November 22nd we are holding a Nativity Festival where we hope to fill the church with as many Nativity Scenes as we can. If you have a scene we can display then please tell Fran. Fran would really appreciate to hear any story associated with the display, for example “where did you get it?” or “what do you like most about it?”

Our Harvest Festival Service will be held on Sunday 28th September with everything collected going to the Warrington Food Bank. They are especially short of UHT Milk, Sugar and tins of meat and tuna if you could be kind and generous enough to bring something for the service.
On Wednesday 24th September New Song will be hosting the first of a series of gatherings to feed and grow our faith.

Sunday 7th September, 10:30am, is a Circuit Service at Padgate Methodist Church to welcome Rev’d Pat Brown into our Circuit. Rev’d Caroline Ainger (District Mission Area Lead, and Deputy Chair) are leading the service.
There will be no other Church services within the circuit.
We know travelling to Padgate can be an issue for a lot of us, especially as there is limited parking that may involve some walking and so we will show the Padgate Circuit Service on our large screen at Latchford. We look forward to seeing you and joining together in each others company.

Alan Pattinson’s funeral will be at Latchford on Monday 1st September at 1pm before proceeding to the Crematorium for 2pm. After Alan’s funeral next Monday everyone is welcome back to the Masonic hall for refreshments.
New Song welcome all children up to about 12 years old between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. There is no real upper age limit but the activities on this age group. We play games, craft work, sing, Bible Stories and watch videos and most importantly we finish with a meal together. For more information please see the New Song Facebook group or speak to Kit.

Brunch is always the first Saturday in the month but for some reason I lost a day in my thoughts. The good news is I have now found the missing day soaking up the sun in the garden!

We have received a letter from Claire House expressing how grateful they are from the support they have received over the past few years from our Ladies group and how much it has helped the children and their families that they look after.
Jim Thomlinson, an member from Bold Street Church and long time active member within the circuit has sadly passed away.
Jim’s funeral will be held on Friday 5th September at 10.15am at Lymm Methodist church followed by 12:00 at the crematorium.
The family would welcome anyone to attend.
After Alan’s funeral next Monday everyone is welcome back to the Masonic hall for refreshments. Please inform Julian asap if you will be attending the Masonic hall so they can arrange catering.

There will not be a service at Latchford.

Latchford Churches together have decided that a church in Latchford will be open for 2 hours every day until the end of July for prayer due to everything happening in the world today and as an aid to anyone with anxiety or fear.
Anyone is very welcome to attend; you don’t have to be a member of any church faith.
Latchford Methodist has been asked to be open on Monday’s 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Derek Hubbard funeral will be at Latchford on Wednesday 7th May at 11.45 in church followed by his burial at Fox Covert at 1pm before returning to Latchford for refreshments.

Betty would like to say thank you for all your prayers. She is feeling much better and hopes to see you all next week.
Thanks to grants and support from Warrington Borough Council community initiative fund, AED Donate and Tesco Bags for life we installed a public defibrillator in May 2021 outside the church hall doors for use by anyone in the area.
During these four years the defibrillator was twice called upon but ultimately not required for either emergency.
The defibrillator battery has a shelf life of four years and so we have recently replaced the battery to help protect our community way into 2029.
In today’s service we decorated the empty cross placed on Good Friday with flowers and foliage to celebrate new life through Jesus’ resurrection.
He has risen indeed
Yesterday, Our church along with New Song, handed out free Hot Cross Buns and flowers in the village to help celebrate Easter.
It was a great atmosphere and the flowers were really appreciated by everyone.

Thank you to all who donated Easter eggs to Children’s Adventure Farm Trust. 51 eggs are being sent to them for their work with children living with challenging lives which is a fantastic quantity of eggs.
A big congratulations to Noah for passing his Tai Kwon Do yellow belt qualifications. Well done.
