On October 11th our Church will be 125 years old. We want to have a weekend of celebration with flowers, music and our history with photographs etc. We will have refreshments on Saturday 12th October to thank God for the Faithful journey of our Church, past, present and future. If you would like to help with any of this would you let Jean know please.
Stalls For Christmas Fayre (November 16th 2019). Tombola (Allan & Joyce, Chocolate Stall (Gill), Cakes (Rita), Round Pound (Kath), Crafts (Helen & Carole), Christmas (Jean), Raffle and Hamper Stall. If you have anything you would like to donate for the stalls could you please give them to the person/people named.
Our benevolent fund has sat unused for a long time, recently there has been a demand upon it and has depleted the funds, therefore we will be taking up a benevolent collection separate to your church collection at our future Holy Communion services.
As part of our growth plan we are going to be recording our Sunday services which will be available to listen to on line. We would also like to purchase some basic MP3 players that the services can be downloaded onto for people to take and listen to and bring back from one Sunday to another. They are for anyone housebound, missing on Sunday or wanting to re listen to a service. We envisage the cost of the MP3 players to be in the region of £30 each if anyone would like to give a donation towards the cost please give it to Julian.
Friendly Club things are moving for the good, we have one new member and there has been a Christmas Meal booked for November and we hope to start again in February.
