As our church building was closed this morning due to road closures for the Warrington run our members of the church supported the running event by having a table and handing out water and sweets to runners. Well done to all who took part.
Road closures for the Warrington Fun run will prevent access to our church on Sunday 25th and therefore we will NOT be holding a service within the building or on our facebook or youtube page.
Instead, Rev Linda will hold an online service on the Warrington Methodist Facebook page. You will need to preregister for access to this site of you don’t already have access.
A copy of this service will be viewable on our website later on Sunday.
We will be handing out water etc to the spectators and runners from our Car Park in the morning and we would welcome volunteers to assist providing you can walk to and from the church.
Our Harvest Festival service on October 23rd will be in support of the Food Bank.
Followed by Faith Lunch and auction of fresh produce brought to the Harvest festival service.
Items needed by the Food Bank include:
Cereal, Sugar, Tinned Meat, Jelly, Custard, Sponge pudding, Soup, UHT Milk, Biscuits, Pot Noodles, Carnation cream, tinned fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cordial, all toiletries please.

September 25th Sunday Worship Service will be online only. This is due to the fun run road closures outside our church making attendance difficult.
We will set up a table in our car park and hand out free water to runners and spectators. If you would like to volunteer to help out with this then please contact a Church Steward.

The circuit is asking if its possible for Sunday service in all churches start at 10.30am.
Due to the shortage in the number of ministers some churches from October may struggle to hold a service. The idea is that if all churches can start their service at the same time then some churches will be able to livestream their minister lead service to other churches on a rotational basis.
Linda asks that we think about this question and please discuss it further with her and provide your thoughts and feedback.

Following this we have the Big Picnic for the Platinum Jubilee. With big games and fun activities provided by In Another Place we invite you to bring a picnic and join in the fun. Church Council meetings are very important as they allow the direction and activities of the church to be set and agreed. If you don’t like something, or want the church to do something new or different, or want to understand why certain things are done then this is the best place to discuss it.
Tonight we have some very important items to discuss and seek approval (or not) and so its really important you attend.
All Church council members should be there but these meetings are open to anyone to attend.
Only Church council members can vote but everyone’s opinions do make a difference.
