We especially think of those people who are sick or unwell at this time be it in body, mind or spirit and pray for your guiding hand on them. We pray for all the homeless people and those families who are struggling in the community with poverty and hardship – lay your loving hands on them. God bless our Minister Martin Wood who works tirelessly in the churches he ministers to. Give him the strength to carry on.

Church Prayer – Wesley
Please remember Wesley Church in your prayers this week. We pray that God will continue to bless the people attending our “Tea & Coffee Pot” on a Friday morning, and that the team running this venture will be blessed also. We pray for our congregation, many of whom are struggling with ill-health & infirmity.

Revd. Linda’s EXTENDED challenge to YOU for Advent
Last week Linda asked “How do you show Gods love?” and gave us all a challenge.
The Challenge is to ask yourself these questions:
- What are you going to do to this week to show God’s Love?
- What will you do to recharge and to know God’s love?
Small acts of kindness can make a massive change to someones life. The little things we do often make the biggest difference.
It could be as small as giving a smile, or saying hello to someone in the street. Perhaps paying for someone to have a cup of tea or offer words of encouragement. Offer a helping hand, give flowers to a stranger, or offer to pray with someone.
This week, Linda asks that we continue with this challenge throughout the advent period and she also extended the challenge asking us to buy an anonymous gift “For a stranger with God’s love”.
If you do something, no matter how small or insignificant you feel it is, Let Iain know and he will publish it on our website.
Either tell Iain, call him, e-mail latchfordmc@outlook.com or click “reply” below this notice on our website. Everything will be treated as anonymous, unless you your happy for your name to be shown. If you reply using facebook then your name will be public and so using the website is best.
Lets see how big a list we can collect.
